| Gary Barker was first licensed as a NC Real Estate Broker in 1977. In 1980 he obtained a Professional Engineering license. He has been licensed as a General Contractor and Auctioneer. He has been in the Real Estate, Construction and Land Development Business since beginning construction work at age sixteen. Put his more than 40 years of experience to work for you. Gary's family on his father's side has lived in North Carolina since before the War for Independence. His father retired to New Bern, NC after a career in the US Navy in 1960. Gary graduated from New Bern High School in 1972 and from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in 1976 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. |
